BA Eastern Sea is the Rye Whiskey barrel-aged version of Eastern Sea, our Baltic-style Porter, which was fermented w/ the lager-like OSLO Kveik yeast, leaving it with a very clean fermentation character and finish. Surprisingly quaffable for a beer of its strength. Medium bodied with malty notes of light roast coffee, chocolate and caramel, as well as a hint of stone fruit and plum as it warms. The barrel-aging contributes notes of oak, vanilla and subtle spice.
