Job Description

The Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in the daily operations of Lupulin Brewing Company’s production and distribution network. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, inventory control, product fulfillment, and delivery logistics. By managing the physical warehouse environment, this role ensures our beer and supplies move efficiently, accurately, and safely throughout the supply chain.

Roles & Responsibilities 

Order Fulfillment & Distribution

  • Collaborating with distributors and retailers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of beer, including route planning and coordinating transportation. 
  • Assist in picking, palletizing, and loading product for all outbound deliveries (requires forklift certification through LBC)
  • Build and prepare outbound orders for Distribution Partners 
  • Enter demand forecasts from distributors and the Sales Director to support effective inventory management and product availability.
  • Ensure order picking and end of day inventory reconciliation SOPs are being followed to minimize missed/callback deliveries.

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

  • Tracking and managing raw materials, packaging supplies and finished goods with the brewery’s warehouse.  
  • Unload incoming trucks and shipments of raw materials, chemicals, packaging, and equipment.
  • Receive all inbound goods into Orchestrated Beer (OBeer) by performing accurate GRPO entries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment, optimizing storage space, and implementing efficient workflows. 
  • Provide Forklift Safety training and certification for all applicable team members.
  • Track and manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods in collaboration with the Brewing Team through daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts.
  • Track and manage monthly inventory of all taproom items.
  • Ordering soda, NA beers and food for taproom and working with taproom employees on delivery of these items
  • Distribute incoming packages (e.g., FedEx/UPS) to appropriate internal staff.
  • Prepare and ship out small parcels including promotional samples, merchandise, and internal product requests.

General Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Uphold cleanliness, efficiency, and safety in all warehouse activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and planning sessions to improve efficiency in warehouse operations, inventory management and distribution processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and relevant legal requirements. 
  • Generating reports on inventory levels, shipping activity, and other key performance indicators. 
  • Support other departments and assist with special projects or additional tasks as needed or assigned by leadership

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • 40-45+ hours per week, days/times may vary, primarily Monday-Friday with occasional weekends for events or staff meetings. Primary hours are approx. 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Drivers License with clean motor vehicle record
  • Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck and pallet jack required
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Self motivated, able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
  • Fun, positive attitude is a must

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 170 lbs above knee height (using mechanical assistance) 
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, lift repetitively
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle (cargo van) in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Ability to operate a forklift and hand truck/pallet jack
  • Working with and around cleaning agents, compressed air or other gasses (including CO2) and other hazardous chemicals
  • Tolerate Hot and Cold temperature conditions in Production Environment
